UNIVERSITY RUGBY TOURS

Easter tours, end-of-season trips and after-exams tours in June for university rugby clubs, men's, women's and mixed. We handle the fixtures, the travel and the beds, the students' union gets the paperwork it asks for, and every player pays their own share.

When do university teams tour?

Most clubs tour at Easter or at the end of the season, once BUCS fixtures are done. More and more go in June, straight after exams and before everyone heads home for the summer. Tell us when exams finish and when the squad is free, and we plan around it.

A tour weekend fits a long weekend; a week away fits the Easter break or the gap after exams.

Men's, women's and mixed

We arrange tours for men's, women's and mixed squads, and for clubs sending more than one team at once. Fixtures are matched to each side's standard.

Raising the money

Our free fundraising pack is written for clubs: ideas that actually raise money, and a fair way to split the cost. Tell us your budget per player and we build the tour to it.

The social side

It is a university tour, so the evenings matter. We book central accommodation, plan a night out in town and point you at the bars that welcome touring sides, and the rugby still comes first.

FOUR STEPS

HOW IT WORKS

  1. 01

    TELL US THE SQUAD

Numbers, the standard you play at, when you want to go and what you want from the trip.

  2. 02

    WE ARRANGE THE FIXTURES

Matched to your standard through our register of host clubs.

  3. 03

    WE BOOK THE REST

Accommodation, a coach or ferry if you want one, airport pickups, transport to the ground, and the social side.

  4. 04

    EVERYONE PAYS THEIR SHARE

Your quote becomes one link. Each player books and pays their own share through the Revel Clubhouse.

FINANCIAL PROTECTION ON EVERY BOOKING

Every player books and pays their own share through the Revel Clubhouse. A deposit secures the trip, instalments spread the rest, and there is financial protection on every booking.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Will our students' union approve the tour?

Students' unions usually ask for an operator with financial protection, a clear payment route and insurance. There is financial protection on every booking, your students' union can have our insurance certificate on request, and we can invoice the club or the SU or collect from each player.

Can each player pay separately?

Yes. Every player books and pays their own share through the Revel Clubhouse, with a small deposit first and instalments after. The captain or social secretary sees who has paid from one dashboard.

When should we book an Easter tour?

As early as you can, ideally before Christmas. Fixtures and hotels for Easter fill up first, and a date in hand makes fundraising easier.

Can we tour in June, after exams?

Yes. It is a good time to go: exams are done, the whole squad is still around and nobody has gone home for the summer yet. Most club seasons have finished by June, so local opposition is harder to find. Tell us your dates early and we start looking for a fixture straight away.

Do you arrange women's and mixed tours?

Yes. We arrange tours and fixtures for men's, women's and mixed university sides, matched to each team's standard.
