ADULT AND UNIVERSITY RUGBY TOUR WEEKENDS

Rugby tour weekends for adult and university teams: senior clubs, university squads, vets, touch and rugby league. We arrange a fixture against local opposition at your standard, a central base and the weekend around it, and every player pays their own share.

PLAN THE WEEKEND

READY TO BOOK, OR BUILT TO ORDER

Rugby tour weekend destinations

The weekends below are ready to book as they stand: two nights in the middle of a great rugby city, a fixture we arrange for you, and the build-up to a big game. Each is priced per player.

They are a starting point, not the whole list. Pick any destination you want and we build the weekend there: Benidorm for spring sunshine, Amsterdam for a long weekend, Dublin or Edinburgh on dates that suit the squad, or the city your club has talked about for years. We find the opposition, book the beds and plan the days around the game.

MATCHED TO YOUR STANDARD

Fixtures against local clubs

Every tour weekend is built around a game of your own. Tell us how the squad plays, and we find a local club that plays the same way.

We arrange the fixture through our register of host clubs, at home and abroad, who enjoy hosting touring sides and want a proper game. A social game against a friendly club or a competitive fixture against a side at your level: you tell us which, and we are honest when a date or a standard is hard to match.

On a longer trip we can arrange more than one fixture, spaced so the squad recovers in between. Clubs bringing a men's and a women's side, or two senior teams, get a game for each, matched to each side's standard.

THE BIG-MATCH WEEKEND

Match-day weekends

Plenty of tour weekends are timed for an international or a big club game, so the whole city is full of rugby from Friday night to Sunday morning.

Our Cardiff, Dublin and Edinburgh weekends are built around the Autumn Internationals. You play your own fixture, then watch the big game together from a reserved booth in a city sports bar, with a bucket of beers for the group and the stadium within easy reach.

Match tickets are an optional upgrade on those weekends, never part of the base price, and they depend on what is available for the game. For any other trip, tell us the match you would love to see and we will tell you honestly what we can get before you book.

CENTRAL, PRICED PER PLAYER

Hotels and apartments in the city centre

We book central hotels or apartments, so the squad can walk from the bed to the bars and back again without hunting for a taxi.

Tell us the standard you want and the budget per player, and we price to it: shared rooms for a university squad watching every pound, or a better class of hotel for the vets and their partners. The whole party stays together, and every price is per player.

Supporters, partners and former players are welcome too. They book on the same link and pay their own share.

YOUR WAY OR OURS

Getting there

Make your own way and meet the squad there, or let us arrange the travel from your clubhouse door.

A coach from home

A coach from the clubhouse to the hotel, to the ground for the fixture and home again on the last day. The easiest way to move a squad and its kit bags.

The ferry

For Dublin and the rest of Europe we book the crossing to go with the coach, so the squad travels together from start to finish.

Airport pickups

If the squad flies, you book the seats and we meet you at the airport, then take everyone straight to the hotel.

Every transfer

Hotel to the ground, the ground back to the hotel, and out to the coach or the airport on the last day. Nobody has to work out how to move thirty players across a strange city.

THE THIRD HALF

The social side

It is a tour, so the evenings matter. After the game comes the third half, usually a drink with the opposition in their clubhouse, then a good night out in town.

We book somewhere central and plan the evenings around the rugby: a table for the squad meal, the bars and pubs that welcome touring sides, and a booth for the big game on match-day weekends.

Add a stadium visit, a brewery tour or a gentle day out for the morning after, and everyone comes home with the same stories. The rugby still comes first.

OFF THE ORGANISER

Paying for the tour

Nobody has to front the money for the whole squad. Your quote becomes one share link for the group chat, and every player books and pays their own share through the Revel Clubhouse.

ONE SHARE LINK

A deposit per player secures the trip, and instalments spread the rest up to the balance date. There is financial protection on every booking.

THE ORGANISER'S DASHBOARD

The captain or social secretary sees who has booked and who has paid from one dashboard, so nobody has to keep a spreadsheet of who owes what.

UNIVERSITY CLUBS

Students' unions usually ask for financial protection, a clear payment route and insurance. Your students' union can have our insurance certificate on request, and we can invoice the club or the SU instead.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What is a rugby tour weekend?

Two or three nights in a city, built around a game of your own. We arrange a fixture against local opposition at your standard, book a central hotel and the transfers, and plan the evenings. Many weekends are timed for a big international or club game in the same city.

Can we go somewhere that is not listed?

Yes. Tell us where you want to go and when, and we build the weekend to order, from Benidorm or Amsterdam to Dublin, Edinburgh or anywhere with a club to play. We find the opposition, book the beds and arrange the transport between them.

Are match tickets included?

Not in the base price. On our Cardiff, Dublin and Edinburgh weekends, tickets for the international are an optional upgrade, subject to availability. Every one of those weekends includes a reserved booth in a sports bar to watch the game together.

Who will we play against?

A local club at your standard, arranged through our register of host clubs. Tell us whether you want a social game or a competitive one, and we match the fixture to how you describe the squad. Longer trips can include more than one game.

Do you arrange the travel?

If you want us to. We arrange a coach from home, ferries, airport pickups and every transfer during the weekend. If the squad flies, you book the seats and we meet you at the airport.

How does each player pay?

Your quote becomes one share link. Every player books and pays their own share through the Revel Clubhouse, with a deposit first and instalments after, and the organiser sees who has paid from one dashboard. There is financial protection on every booking.

Will our students' union approve the trip?

Students' unions usually ask for financial protection, a clear payment route and insurance. There is financial protection on every booking, your students' union can have our insurance certificate on request, and we can invoice the club or the SU.

How many players do we need?

Enough for a squad and a few spare. Most adult tour weekends travel with 20 to 30, supporters and partners are welcome on the same link, and we price for the number you actually bring.
